- As for celebrities appearing on TV during January to June 2005 in Kanto Region, in the number one place is "Kenji Sakaguchi," an actor featuring in Kirin Brewery and NTT DoCoMo commercials, who increased his position significantly from 78th last year. He became the first male celebrity to hold the top position since "Haruhiko Kato" in 2002 (the top position for January to June 2003 was "Rena Tanaka").
He is followed by "Aya Ueto," who appears in Sompo Japan and Oronamin C commercials, and "Aya Matsuura," the singer. - Eleven of those who were in the top 20 in the same period last year also ranked in the top 20 this year. Therefore, there were 9 new people, which meant the turnover was relatively small this year.
- Those who first appeared in the top 20 in the same period since 2001 were "Michiko Shimizu," "Tomomitsu Yamaguchi," "Takami Matsumoto," "Shinji Ono" and "Yuki Amami."
