After scanning the barcode, data transfer is to be made via infrared transmission and the data is transferred to our host computer via internet.

As well as scanning the product barcode, respondents scan the preprinted code sheet for "TV Station" and "TV off" respectively when they "started to watch TV" and "finished to watch TV", accordingly. (Barcode reader is equipped with an electric time stamp.)
