VR Personal Scan System (VRPS)

  Features of VRPS

• VRPS captures the "Purchase" based on individual persons.
  VRPS enables to capture Men's purchase behavior which has not been targeted in the past.
  
  
• VRPS captures "Consumption during transportation".
  VRPS records all the purchase behavior, even including the purchase behavior that could not be captured before. For instance, the case like purchase & consumption is completed while being away from home - i.e.: Purchase coffee-in-cans while commuting and drink it at the office. The purchase channels are not limited to Convenience store/Supermarket, but also the vending machines.
  
  
• VRPS identifies the time of purchase.
  Purchase timing is quite versatile. VRPS allows you to infer the consumption behavior pattern such as "Buy the product just before their own consumption for product category...".
  
  
• VRPS enables to confirm the relationship between personal purchase behavior and Ad contact.
  VRPS respondents record TV contact along with purchase behavior, it enables to analyze the correlation between TV contact and purchase.
  
  
• VRPS provides you with the accurate purchase record data.
  The adoption of convenient devices such as portable barcode reader and mobile phone reduces the respondents' burden in participating the survey and enables to provide the highly accurate data.

Portable barcode reader

After scanning the barcode, data transfer is to be made via infrared transmission and the data is transferred to our host computer via internet.

Electronic diary

As well as scanning the product barcode, respondents scan the preprinted code sheet for "TV Station" and "TV off" respectively when they "started to watch TV" and "finished to watch TV", accordingly. (Barcode reader is equipped with an electric time stamp.)
